Kennewick School District — 2 HOUR DELAY. The following programs are canceled:-AM ECEAP classes-AM Keewaydin Discovery Center classes-AM Tri-Tech Skills Center classes-AM athletics, music and activities-Zero-hour classes-Morning breakfast

Richland School District — 2 HOUR DELAY

Kiona-Benton School – 2 HOUR DELAY. No breakfast, no AM Tri-tech, no AM Lourdes and no AM Preschool.

Hanford Site
Due to adverse weather conditions, non-essential Hanford employees North of the Wye Barricade and South of the Wye Barricade, including Richland should adhere to the following schedule. Employees who are teleworking or are able to telework should continue to do so.

Employees are not to report to work earlier than the designated time outlined below so road crews can safely complete their task.

Day shift:  are directed to report to work at  9:00 a.m.

Swing and graveyard shifts:  REGULAR SCHEDULE for tonight.

The Rattlesnake Barricade will be open until 10:30 a.m.

Essential employees needed to maintain minimum safe operations are to follow their normal work schedule.

Winter driving conditions should be expected.  Employees should use extra caution and plan for longer commute times.

Call the Hanford Hotline at 509-376-9999 for updates and tune your car radio to 530 AM as you near the Hanford site.


All nonessential Pacific Northwest National Laboratory staff located in Richland and on the Hanford Site will report to work at 10:00 AM. Only essential staff are to report to work at their usual time.
