Fire Inside Pasco Walmart Apparently Started By Young Boy

(Pasco, WA) — A small arson fire at the Pasco Walmart off Road 68 Tuesday night apparently happened after authorities say a young boy was depicted on security video using a lighter to start the fire. This happened around 9pm. Employees quickly extinguished it and the store was temporarily evacuated. Pasco Fire Department arrived to make sure everything was under control. In the video, the boy leaves the fire area after ignition and leaves with an adult woman. Police are investigating. If the child is under the age of 12, he cannot be prosecuted for a crime in Washington State.
