City-Supplied Irrigation Water

The Irrigation Division is responsible for maintaining and repairing the City’s irrigation water supply system. Issues for this division include:

  • Irrigation water main breaks
  • Leaks
  • Reduced irrigation pressure

Irrigation Season

Typically, the City’s irrigation season runs from April-October. Seasonal varieties, such as long periods of warm weather (or lack thereof) can effect the length of the season.

The current schedule for irrigation shutoff is to begin shutting the system down on Monday, October 18.  It will take several days for the system to completely drain.

The Irrigation Master Pan (PDF) provides a basis for identifying, analyzing, and planning capital improvements to the irrigation system.
